There’s lots of theories floating about, one being that he might be The Valeyard (from the original series, mentioned earlier in the episode), who was an incarnation of the Doctor between the 11th and 12th regeneration and who supposedly brings shame on the name of the Doctor. However, as is the case with most of Moffat’s twists, the fandom can theorise all it likes but he’ll probably still catch us all off guard and surprise us!

So the Doctor Who finale was phenomenal. For those of you who have already seen it, you can appreciate my excitement. This is the first in what will probably amount to being quite a lot of fanart haha, I’m obsessed!
